which windows mobile phone having edge 3G camera in India?
I want to purchase mobile phone having features :
windows mobile (touch screen), 2 megapixel, 3G and
budget is = 20,000. Is windows mobile required or

There is no phone available for or below INR 20000 which exactly matches your specifications.
The best one which matches all your specifications is HTC touch, which has all features except 3G.
There are many phones avaiable from Nokia which are 3G, have 2 MP cameras and are way below INR 20000, but don’t have touch screen (Nokia N70, N73 etc).
So you either to either sacrifice 3G or touch screen functionalty below INR 20000.
Since 3G would take atleast 18 months more before it comes to India subject to the govt not creating any more mess, it is better to go for a model like HTC Touch without 3G. If you dont mind spending more you can go for models from Sony Ericsson ( I think some 900 series) , but they will cost something around INR 30000 but have 3G, 2MP camera and touch screens.
Windows Mobile is an operating system from Microsoft used by many manufacturers like HTC, IMate, Dopod etc. Even Motorola and Samsung uses them in some of their models.
Nokia and Sony Ericsson uses the Symbian operating system in their mobiles. Samsung also uses Symbian in some of their models.
Both operating systems have their own pros and cons in terms or user experience, but have the almost the same functionality for smart phones.
